Sneak Peek of Christmas 2015

Posted by Melanie on

The calendar may read July, but for the retail industry, it’s time to start preparing for the holiday season. As we are coming to the end of the Christmas in July events, we have all of the intel of what’s going to be hot topics this Christmas. Here are some of our favourite.

Sipsmith Mulled Gin

Who would have thought of hot gin? Apparently it was popular during the London ‘big freeze’ when Londoners warmed themselves on hot gin and ginger cake and Sipsmith have taken inspiration from this to combine the signature spice with cloudy apple and some sloe gin. The signature spice will also be available in various cakes, biscuits and chocolates.

Heston’s Cherry Bakewell Vodka

Inspired by Heston's love of nostalgic desserts and sweets, this award-winning Vodka is expertly blended with cherry juice extract to create a pudding in a bottle.

Heston comments: "I've always had a soft spot for old-fashioned desserts so by using nostalgic flavours, I wanted to create a grown-up treat that ultimately makes people smile. The comforting flavours of cherry and almond, alongside the home-produced ingredients, make it a truly British drink."

Nip + Fab

Nip + Fab is a fabulous skincare and body care range designed to deliver targeted treatments for the face and body. The formulas are crammed with innovative and natural advanced skin smoothing, boosting and firming ingredients. Nip + Fab is going to be popular this year as their gift sets and 3 for 2’s come out in full force this year.

Nina Ricci

Nina Ricci Fragrances have always been a big favourite for consumers, and this year we will see more popularity as the brand develops new ideas. It’s an aromatic scent that isn't too overbearing, making it the ideal scent for those important nights out throughout December.

As for the gadgets, we love them so much that we couldn’t wait to tell you what’s hot this year. Check out a previous blog for the Intel on what Curry’s deems to be the Top Ten Tech Gifts for Christmas 2015 .

Research revealed that almost 90% of children's toy boxes across the country contain toys influenced by their favourite TV shows and films. So of course both minion’s toys and Lego toys will be very popular this Christmas.
